How to Play “More Precious than Silver” on Piano

"Lord, You are more precious than silver. Lord, You are more costly than gold. Lord, You are more beautiful than diamonds, and nothing I desire compares with You." As you play this beautiful chorus for church or personal worship, you will be reminded that Jesus is the treasure and the prize.

Chord chart

Here are the chords for "More Precious than Silver".

As you can see from the chord chart above, this song uses 4 main chords: D, G, A, and Em (pronounced "E minor"). The diagrams below show how to play each of these chords on the piano:

Play each chord with the right hand, and play a single note with the left hand. (For example, when the right hand plays a D chord, the left hand should play a single note D. When the right hand plays a G chord, the left hand plays a G note, etc.)

For slash chords (for example, A/C#), play the A chord in the right hand. In the left hand, play a single note C# (instead of the A that we would normally play).

The Asus chord is played D-G-A.
