Learn to Play Worship Piano
A step-by-step approach to playing piano for worship
Have you ever tried to learn piano… only to feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how it connects to worship?
Many traditional lessons teach technique—but not how to worship through music. And many worship resources teach songs—but not how to develop real musical freedom or a lifestyle of worship.
This is why Adoration Music Academy exists.
You don’t just need piano lessons.
You need a clear path to becoming a worshipper who plays with confidence, sensitivity, and spiritual depth.
Why Most People Get Stuck
Many aspiring worship pianists:
Learn random songs without understanding how music works
Feel dependent on sheet music or tutorials
Struggle to play in different keys
Don’t know how to flow or improvise
Feel disconnected between playing and worship
The result?
They stay stuck—sometimes for years.
Not because they lack ability…
but because they’ve never been shown a clear, integrated path forward.
A Different Approach: Worship + Musicianship Together
This is not just a piano course.
And it’s not just teaching worship concepts.
You’ll learn:
How music actually works (chords, numbers, patterns)
How to apply it in a worship context
How to grow in both skill and spiritual depth
So instead of copying songs…
You’ll understand what you’re playing—and be able to play with freedom.

Meet Your Instructor
Makayla Stevenson is a worship pianist and educator who developed a unique approach to teaching worship piano.
After being self-taught, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music (Piano Pedagogy & Arranging) and became a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music (NCTM) through MTNA. She has also trained at Jesus School and the House of Bethany worship academy.
Recognizing that most piano training focuses on technique—not worship—she created a method that integrates musical skill with a heart of worship. That is the foundation of everything taught inside Adoration Music Academy.
